The Smith Family

Based in a tiny town in Northern Michigan, Trent, Michelle and Kaitlyn live with their 4 Arabian horses and Margie the pony, 3 dogs,3 cats, 13 chickens,and a turkey.  Trent is a Farrier by trade, Michelle an avid Natural Horsemanship and ALL things natural student and former Corporate Executive, and Kaitlyn, a happy horse loving 2nd Grader!

We have a passion for all things natural, nutrition being the main passion!  Both horse and human! We believe in respecting our environment and treating our animals with dignity and compassion, and feeding them ALL naturally, of course!

Michelle is a research-a-holic, self proclaimed.   She loves discovering new and exciting nutritional studies and information, that she readily shares!!

Our Philosophy

At Horse Herbs Naturally we are horse lovers with years of experience feeding naturally.  We want the best for our horses.  We are about never ending self improvement and education!  We also believe that in this day and age, and this economy,  horse owners need to stick together and share information!  This site is a direct result of that thinking!  And so are our HERBS!

As we searched for herbal supplements we discovered blend after blend. Which one was best?  Who knew?  And it hit us, we want simple, we want one herb at a time, we want the herbs WE want, not the herbs someone else has decided belong in our supplement!  We want pure, natural herbs.  So, we set out to find the purest herbs.  The herbs we offer are human grade!  In fact, Michelle regularly makes smoothies with her horse herbs added in!
